Taiwan Fu Hsing was recently featured in an exclusive interview by the National Culture and Arts Foundation (NCAF), sharing its innovative approach to promoting local arts and culture development. As a leader in the manufacturing industry, Taiwan Fu Hsing has not only fostered a diverse and inclusive corporate culture to enhance employee cohesion but also advanced local cultural creativity through initiatives like the "Unlock Gangshan" project. This project reflects the journey from building Fu Hsing to opening up Gangshan as a hub for cultural innovation.

NCAF’s Arts & Business platform previously interviewed the Taiwan Fu Hsing Cultural and Educational Foundation in 2018, highlighting its dedication to art programs for underprivileged children in rural areas and its commitment to cultivating a culture of corporate volunteering. In recent years, the foundation has continued to implement numerous art and cultural initiatives, broadening its scope of support and forging strong ties with local communities. These efforts have earned it the prestigious Arts and Business Award’s "Corporate Culture Award" for four consecutive terms since 2017. Given these accomplishments, NCAF conducted another interview to delve deeper into the challenges, transformations, and future directions of the foundation’s recent projects.

During the interview, Taiwan Fu Hsing’s Chief Culture Officer, LIN Yi-cheng, shared that the foundation’s commitment to promoting the arts begins with its employees. The initiatives focus on enhancing employee well-being and fostering a sense of belonging. Programs range from encouraging employees to attend art performances to integrating creativity into activities like weight loss challenges and book donations, empowering colleagues to become arts sponsors and establishing a sustainable cultural cycle. In recent years, as part of its vision for a “happy enterprise,” Taiwan Fu Hsing has extended its efforts to making its home city a more livable place. Through local vision workshops, exhibitions, cultural markets, public art, and other diverse forms of engagement, the "Unlock Gangshan" initiative aims to create connections and foster a sense of identity and belonging for various groups within the community.

This NCAF feature not only acknowledges Taiwan Fu Hsing’s past achievements but also aims to raise awareness of the significance of art and culture. By spotlighting these efforts, it seeks to inspire more like-minded partners to join in creating a positive cycle of cultural enrichment.
