The Youth Innovative Design Festival (YDF) serves as a platform for young students to showcase their growth and participate in creative competitions. Since its inception in 2005, the festival has brought together diverse forms of creativity, organizing exhibition spaces and related activities from a curatorial perspective. It has become a benchmark event for youth creative design exhibitions in Taiwan.

Since 2016, the Fuxing Foundation has sponsored and supported the YDF, encouraging young students to express boundless creativity. This year, a total of 1,020 works were submitted for the competition. Among them, 208 pieces were shortlisted for the Creative Design Competition, with 52 winning awards, while 32 films were shortlisted for the Youth Film Festival, with 13 winning awards. Due to the pandemic, the awards ceremony was held online, with Kaohsiung Deputy Mayor SHIH Che, Kaohsiung Cultural Affairs Bureau Director WANG Wen-cui, and Kaohsiung Film Archive Deputy Director HUANG Hao-jie announcing the winners.

The Fuxing Foundation firmly believes that Taiwan’s design capabilities are on par with those of other nations. The foundation plans to continue leveraging its corporate influence to support young students passionate about creative design, enabling them to shine brightly on the stage of design in the future.
